CREO : The Genesis

Greetings ! Less than 24 hours ago, about 50 CREO was airdropped to 1,550 early believers who had no idea what the project was about. Liquidity was added on Pancake Swap, and trading of token commenced. There’s been some trading; Jeets dumping, Chads buying. Till now, no one knew what project was about….

Now to the order of the day…. What is CREO?

CREO (a word meaning “I create” in Italian, and “I think” in Spanish) is a BSC community centered around active minds constantly thinking, creating, buidling and adding value to the BSC ecosystem. It’s a community by creators, for creators with something to offer to all creatives; from the goofiest of meme makers to the Chaddest devs. The primary token of the CREO community is $CREO. The CREO community was created by a number of Chads to fill the void of legitimate BSC projects, as the BSC community has recently become synonymous with rug-pulls.

How does the $CREO token work?

$CREO is a deflationary token on the Binance Smart Chain. A total of 100,000 CREO was minted, with the same amount being the maximum supply. 90% of tokens were Airdropped (with a sizeable amount of tokens burnt in the process). 5% of the supply was used to provide liquidity, and 5% preserved in the Dev fund for Token development and Marketing.

It is important to note that $CREO undergoes a 1% burn per transaction. This means that after each transaction, 1% of tokens is sent to the burn address, and is taken out of the circulating supply forever. This would lead to a continuous reduction in the total market supply of $CREO in the long run. So far(in less than 24 hours), about 1,500 CREO has been burnt from transactions bringing down supply from the initial 100,000 to about 98,500.

What are the intended use cases for $CREO?

As earlier mentioned, $CREO is set to be the primary token of the Creo community. Like any other DeFi token, it’s going to have some primary use cases which include:

Staking
Yield Farming
Governance: Use $CREO token to vote and decide what happens in the community

Asides these conventional/primary use cases, a wide range of amazing possibilities lie with the $CREO token in the long run. These include:

Building an NFT marketplace: Creatives of ALL forms would be able to sell tokenized content (ranging from music, memes, art, photos, video clips, GIFs, articles, poems, even code and much more) with no third-parties, all in one place.
Creating a Social Media on the Blockchain: The goal here would be to build a Decentralized Social Media Platform where community members could upload & view content, and show some support to their favorite creators by tipping them $CREO or other Creo community tokens.
